Educational courses on making Children's books

This year seems to have slipped by and the Holidays are right around the corner!

I have been having a great time with some projects that are near completion and will be out soon. More news on those to come!

To recap over the summer and I highly reccommend, always furthering your education in your field. Some really great resources that are available for writers and illustrators of KidLit are:

My favorite long term educational offering is Mark Mitchell's "Make Your Splashes" course from How To Be A Children's Book Illustrator, Mark Mitchell's blog on children's book illustration and illustrators.

I have been a member for a few years and the best feedback you can have is there. He offers monthly live critiques for members with powerhouses of our industry, the last being Mary Sullivan of the wonderful book "Ball"!

This is a combined seminar with Mira Reisberg of the Picture Book Academy

Making Picture Book Magic by Susanna Leonard Hill, this is one of her book trailers I love! Her site is amazing and a treasure trove of inspiration with every Wendesday posting Pitches to consider and judge in "Would you read it?" on her Blog.

Will Terry and Jake Parker offer great courses at a lost monthly subscription price at SVSlearn

To hone pacing in my writing and visual storytelling skills, I joined KidLit Summer School:
